WHY DON'T YOU ALLOW SUBSTITUTIONS TO ANY OF YOUR PRODUCT RANGE?
We have spent the last few years working hard to develop a sandwich range that appeals to a broad variety of tastes. This is continually being updated and there are currently more than 30 sandwiches in the range. This allows you plenty of choice and ensures that we stay efficient and continue to offer a same day service and a later cut off time. We always ensure that your guests receive a varied mix of Meat, Fish and Vegetarian based sandwiches on our Platters.
DO YOU OFFER GLUTEN FREE?
The only barrier we can see to a great gluten free sandwich is the bread! We are currently looking for a supplier to resolve this however in the meantime we can offer you one of our tasty and filling chicken salads. In addition to this our fruit pots, fruit juices, most smoothies and most of our daily soups are safe options.
WHAT FOODS ARE SAFE FOR EXPECTING MOTHERS?
This is something for each individual person to make a choice on, however for your information, Café Sol use pasteurised mayonnaise, cheddar cheese, goats cheese and Greek style yoghurts.
WHY DON'T YOU DELIVER INDIVIDUAL COFFEE LIKE CAPPUCCINOS AND LATTES?
There are two reasons that we don’t deliver our milk based coffee drinks. These products just don’t travel well and to prevent any disappointment we have decided to serve lattes and cappuccinos only in our shops. The second reason relates to the fact that our vans are fully refrigerated, so the product would end up arriving to you cold and frothless.
WHAT DO I DO WITH THE TRAYS/FLASKS AFTER I'M FINISHED WITH THEM?
We decided to use the wooden trays for presentation and operational reasons and the feedback from customers means that we will continue to do so into the future. We promise to collect them within 2 working days and ask that you leave them at reception.
WHY DON'T YOU ACCEPT CASH OR CHEQUE ON DELIVERY ANYMORE?
The reason that we have removed cash from the transaction is to ensure that our drivers are not put at risk. We are now able to offer an online credit card and account facility on the website.
CAN I PLACE AN ORDER FOR PICK-UP AND COLLECT IT FROM CAFÉ SOL OUTLET?
All of our deliveries are made and dispatched from our Production Unit located on 46 Lower Baggot Street. You are welcome to place an order for collection, but it must be collected from there.
CAN I GRAB SOMETHING FROM ONE OF YOUR OUTLETS AND PUT IT ON MY ACCOUNT?
Our individual Café Sol outlets are entirely separate to our Delivery Service and they don’t have the facility to add items to your account. You can place orders on our website or alternatively call our Production Unit on 01 6628037.
